Rinse/Clean Sea Moss thoroughly (at least 3x), washing away any salt, sand, and debris from the sea and then soak using one of the following methods: SEA MOSS IS NOT PRE-CLEANED SO YOU MUST PROPERLY RINSE/CLEAN PRIOR TO PREPARATION. CONSUPTION OF SEAMOSS NOT CLEANED CAN POTENTIALLY RESULT IN SICKNESS. DO NOT CONSUME IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO SEAWEEDS. COLD WATER METHOD: Soak in purified water between 6-36 hrs. (UNTIL SOFT/SLIPPERY/SLIMY). Rinse again. Add to blender with water in a ratio of 1 cup of Sea Moss to 1.5-2 cups of distilled/purified water. If too thick, add more water. Blend until smooth and creamy. If not soft after soaking (or to speed up the process), use heat method. Refrigerate or freeze immediately after preparation. Following preparation, gel will be good for up to 3 weeks in refrigerator and 1 year in freezer. WARM/HOT WATER METHOD (for quicker results): Soak in cool water for 30-60 minutes. Rinse again. Add to pot and cover with hot water. Allow to sit for 5 minutes then remove from heat. Allow to sit for an additional 5 minutes. Do not discard water. Add with water in a ratio of 1 cup of Sea Moss to 1 1/4 cups of distilled/purified water. Blend until smooth and creamy. If too thick to blend add more water. Tip #1: Add a lemon/lime or both to during the soak process to help neutralize any residual ocean smell. Tip #2: Make sure sea moss is soft/slimy/slippery before blending. If its blended before it has reached this state you may see hard pieces/chunks and it will not be a creamy gel. Once gel is prepared add a spoonful to your favorite smoothie and blend for a delicious drink! * PRODUCT CONDITION – Due to the careful process in harvesting users may notice a light coating of dried sea water which can crystallize as salt. This is normal. * STORAGE AND HANDLING – Please keep sea moss in a sealed bag or container in a cool and dry environment. Keep away from any moisture or condensation. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
